Design and deployment of IT asset management for an automation insfrastructure operations branch

Our advisors worked on a project team at a major Banking Institution to roll out the IT Asset Management process and HP Asset Manager 9.30 software within the Office Infrastructure Management Branch. The implementation project took place over a period of six months.
We documented and maintained the project documents in the client's documentary website.
This project optimized the management of desktop assets such as desktops, laptops, terminals, virtual workspaces, printers, monitors, licenses, contracts and software installations.
Activities carried out in the mandate :
- Analysis of the existing (process / tools) and validation of the compatibility of the activities with the target solution
- Defining the scope of IT assets to migrate to the new HP Asset Manager solution (physical, virtual, contract, license, etc.) including recurring Cost Management
- Comprehensive documentation (use of our "drawing board" technique) of the processes / tools related to the Management of IT Assets
- The organization of the IT Solution to centralize the inventory of office equipment. Managed items are created in HP Aset Manager and replicated to the rest of the Configuration Management System
- The organization of the IT Solution to manage the Automatic Collection of Software Discovery Data
- Implementation of the basic functionality for Software License Management, including compliance aspects (meter integration to reconcile facilities and corresponding license fees)
- The organization of the Solution for the Management of Virtual Software rights attribution data to users (Collection Management)
- The organization of the Solution for Contract Management (license, maintenance, support) including the management of recurrent costs
